The winery story

Roederer Estate began in 1982 as a California project of Champagne Louis Roederer. The first vines followed in 1984. The winery makes traditional-method sparkling wine from its own Anderson Valley vineyards. That method includes a second fermentation in the bottle. Its history connects the Philo estate with Champagne expertise, while the grapes come from California.

The connection to the land
